elemental yoga- yin yoga + acupuncture
friday, june 19th 5:30-6:30pm $60
join us for an evening of deep relaxation and healing! yin yoga and acupuncture, when combined together, increase the benefits of each other. both work to improve circulation and balance energy, release stress, eliminate pain, and connect the mind, body, and spirit. in this seasonal, special event we'll introduce the tradition of the 5 elements, teach you the lessons of the current season's element and how we can use this wisdom to our benefit while keeping ourselves in balance with the energies of the season. each element is also associated with specific meridians (energy pathways) in the body's connective tissue. our physical practice will put an emphasis on stimulating these energy pathways and their corresponding organs. in addition to practicing the passively held postures of yin yoga, you'll also receive direct stimulation to points on the meridians with a brief acupuncture treatment from fAe gibson, of wellspring community acupuncture in butler. classes may also include qi gong movements and/or pranayama.
glute boot camp-

glute training is about much more than hip thrusts!
during this boot camp, you’ll learn:
*how to train smarter and get the most out of every workout.
*proper glute activation techniques
*how to effectively perform squats, lunges, and hip hinges
*the difference between glute-focused and quad-dominant movements
*techniques to improve strength, power, and endurance
*how to engage your core and maintain proper posture
*common mistakes that can limit glute growth and performance
*ways to progress exercises safely and effectively
*how strong glutes support better balance, stability, and everyday movement
whether your goal is building strength, improving athletic performance, preventing injury, or developing stronger, more defined glutes, you’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to continue your progress long after the class ends. this class is designed to challenge all fitness levels. please wear clean, flat gym/tennis shoes and bring water and a small towel
restorative yoga- sunday, june 21st 1-2pm. $15
bring balance back into your hectic schedule and enjoy the calming effects of restorative yoga on your nervous system. this floor based practice is designed to soothe the body and mind by completely supporting our postures with the assistance of bolsters, blankets, and blocks and by allowing for plenty of time in each posture. this helps students of every level ease their way into, and enjoy the benefits of, deep relaxation.
restorative yoga can bring stillness to the busy mind, releases muscle tension, increases vagal tone, and may improve sleep. through deepening and evening out the breath, and allowing our bodies to be completely supported, we can feel where tension is being held. so often we are moving through the day, unaware or unable to reflect on muscle tension. this “fight or flight” response becomes the dominant operating system and can cascade to many lasting effects. restorative yoga creates an opening to the “rest and digest” side of our nervous system.
enjoy this opportunity to practice self-care and leave with a renewed sense of awareness and possibly a deeper sense of compassion for yourself and others. each month's session will have a different theme and may include a small gift for you to take home.
past life regression workshop-
sunday, june 28th 3:30-4:45pm. $40
how often have you felt the gentle warmth of déjà vu? a deep knowing in your soul that this lifetime is not your first experienced earth-side? in this 75 minute past life regression, we will open the portal to explore a past life that may illuminate some of the themes of your current life. the practice will begin with a tapping exercise to dial into our nervous system, an invocation for angels and benevolent energies to support our journey, followed by a gentle hypnosis to guide you through a past life before we close with integration practices. participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing in layers and to consider bringing a journal and pen to make notes of their experience during integration. feel free to email questions to kelsey at kelseyclarkyoga@gmail.com or find her on ig at divine phases.
